SPE Section Boards

The SPE Aberdeen and London Sections are managed locally by teams of volunteer SPE members. The boards comprise Officer and Director positions.

The Officer Positions

Chairman; Programme Chairman; Membership Chairman; Treasurer; Continuing Education Chairman; Student/Scholarship Chairman; Publicity Chairman and Past Chairman.

Term of Office

Members serve a three-year term on the board and must be re-elected if they wish to continue for a further three years.

Elections

Elections are held each May and the boards assume their responsibilities from 1 July to 30 June the following year.

Board Meetings

During the year, board meetings are held immediately prior to dinner meetings in both Aberdeen and London.
