Communications Working Group
Times are changing and today, without an effective, constant and engaging communication process, no membership organisation can truly declare that it serves the needs of its members and that it listens to them, unless several criteria are fulfilled.
SPE Aberdeen’s Communication Committee has been reorganised as a fully functioning pro-active and re-active working group and - we are no longer keeping a solid bridge between the volunteers of the Committee and SPE Aberdeen’s contractors, we have merged our responsibilities whilst retaining the volunteering ethos of SPE: the Chairperson (Ella Minty) and the Vice Chair (Elliot Kinch) of the Working Group are volunteers.
Both volunteers and contractors have a single goal: that of ensuring a proper dissemination, engagement and dialogue with all SPE Aberdeen’s stakeholders - our members, sponsors, partner organisations and the industry as a whole.
The Communication Working Group we have set up recently is starting to achieve its main aim: that of communicating - both internally and externally - in a highly professional and coordinated manner, irrespective of the communication channel: website information, members’ notifications, e-Newsletter and the SPE Review Magazine (jointly published with SPE London).
Our section’s website is going to be changing soon and, once the new website is live, we shall notify all our members!
