Communications Committee

The three main areas of activity for the committee are the SPE Review magazine, www.spe-uk.org web site and the E-mail broadcast (eNewsletter)

The SPE Review is jointly published by Aberdeen and London sections every month except July.  The Review is mailed monthly to SPE UK members and quarterly to further 4000 SPE members in Europe. 

The SPE website is 50% owned by each of SPE London & Aberdeen sections and was developed last session by the Board - at the request of members through a membership survey. 

The email broadcast is provided as a service by SPE at no charge.  The email address list is updated continuously by members.  In general the eNewsletter comes out once a month – topics include:

• SPE Aberdeen events
• SPE International events in Europe
• Energy Institute events
• Ad Hoc not-for-profit / charitable events
